Well april was good overall, mainly because i ran like absolute god. Didnt manage to get that many hands in as spent a week in manchester being a degenerate and being a bit dumb with money. Ah well, only old once. Will be going to vegas with the pokerfarm, hopefully bink something. Should be pretty cool hanging out with some of the pokerfarm guys i havent spent much time with yet, and also be fun hanging with bordy, i think we could be in for some good times. Planning on playing all the 6max comps (except the $25k) and probably the main, although i dont really want to spend more than 3 weeks out there. Some other good stuff coming up including notts ukipt, gonna be sticking in a couple of guys from the office that deserve a little shot at a decent chunk. Feel a bit drained and pokered out, training guys to beat 50 and 100nl is pretty tough, given 6max holdem is played to a disgustingly high standard nowadays, at almost all stakes. Wish i still had that bet to take v padraig parkinson, would be a pretty easy $10k imo.

Having some real issues getting hold of a house close to the office (borehamwood), for some reason they wont accept 4/5 20-something y.o guys with no proof of income. Even if we will pay 6months upfront. Seems a bit crazy to me, but if anyone reading this can help me out, ill be much obliged. Want 4/5 bedroom nice houses in barnet/edgware/bushey/mill hill are, paying £2.5-4k pm. So looks like im gonna take a holiday in a couple of weeks, not sure yet where im going, might treat my mum to somewhere nice and just lounge on a beach for a week. Seeing sunlight again might be a bit of a shock to the system though :)

March ended up beign pretty decent overall, didnt play that many hands but ran ok and had some nice sessions. Dropping 5k us on the last day wasnt ideal but w/e we can log it as a metasession. Alltold it was a good month and i fixed some smaller leaks and was a bit more player dependant with some of the line i took.

With regards to the uk pokerfarm, we are about to go massive. I mean huge. Once the pokerden airs (i believe sam trickett and possibly the anti-hero fullflush will be wearing our logo's) we will launch the website and forum and hopefully be inundated with applications from guys that want to be part of a seriously buzzing poker office and syndicate. should be pretty sweet. anyways, for the purposes of a record and some minor self pat on back ill record my results for this year in all their honesty on this blog. With a little luck we can run like the sun for 2010. Havent got round to formatting hem yet so these results are in euro's.

also massive congratulations to mr James Mitchell for shipping the IO, great result for a great guy that needed a break and has one of the best tournament games in the uk. well done son. Also well done rob sherwood on a great final and shipping the sole survivor, prolly one of the most established and successful online pro's around. grats, mbsfn.

ok, so time to dish the dirt. Im running the london office of the uk pokerfarm. The website isnt quite up and running yet but the domain is thepokerfarm.com

The aim is to get hold of as many young, keen guys as possible and train them through the ranks. We have 15 players at present in the uk, but will be moving to a top spec office just before vegas, which means we need players. Lots and lots of players. The deal we are offering is better than anything else out there. Believe me i know how generally terrible staking deals are for the player. These deals are player dependant, but are amazing. I will be buying a place shortly close to our office (all poker is undertaken in-office, with only 1 remote player (v special circumstances) so if u want to live, eat and breath poker, email me on here.

Off to ept snowfest on weekend with a little fucking degen (no not u reynolds) so will hope to bink something, but mainly just going to get away from it all and do some thinking. Got a lot of shit going on in my life right now and working nonstop is taking its toll on me. Need to get those attractive in a weird way looks back.

Anyhow, im having a sick month, pretty sure im on a heater but still happy. Im kinda being a bit nitty with table selection, but iv set some new goals for this year. Namely, i want to win $300k and sustain a 10bb+/100 winrate at 400nl+. Pretty sure these are well within my sights, so lets see how we dooooo.....(graph in euros, im allowed a fucking brag once in a while seeing as cody just won a fucking ept, lewis is getting the lot without lifting a finger and moorman and pabs love circle encompasses just about every major score on every sunday ever.

Update time. Iv left badbeat, many thanks to them for their support and help over the last 18months. Im now being backed by a new enterprise, uk pokerfarm. Iv been given joint control of the uk office, a fantastic staking deal and a great opportunity. We are aiming to become the biggest staking company in the UK by the end of the year and the biggest worldwide by 2012 (inc moorman.inc :P ). With offices in South Africa and Costa Rica, in addition to the london office we are looking for smallstakes and medium stakes nlh grinders to join us. If you think thats you, email me and ill get in touch. Preferably attatch graphs/sites/winrate information also.

If you dont live locally in London, no worries. We are looking to relocate and accomodate players (free accomodation) it it means we will get the grind from a big volume decent player. We are currently working out of a small 15man office, but are looking to move to a 60man office in the coming few months. All staked play is undertaken in-office, a great environment for playing/learning and earning. Most staking deals are 70/30 minimum, with 25-35% rakeback negotiable on winrate/volume etc.

In other news, im having a kinda midlife crisis atm. Not gonna go into it but a combination of this new job and other stresses has led to some heartache, but hopefully life will return to normal in a little while. Also, iv been banned from driving, so ill be wearing cycling shorts in the near future, marvellous.

Last month was decent, my HEM has missed some hands and is in euros, but im reasonably happy with my winrate, if not my volume (euro's so sweeter). Most of this was 400nl on prima, but i got a little bitchslapped at 600nl recently, so will be loading up some hands so i can get a read on (what i expect to be) tough regs. Ill post the biggest pot i lost in the month, which was quite funny imo. Guy was a maniac, but w/e nh :P

lazy me. well, hardly, iv been really busy with a new project. Ill talk more openly on here later in the year as i dont want to offend anyone or appear ungrateful or arrogant. pokers been going well, kinda averaging 3:1 in winning sessions to losing on a new site @ 2/4E, but am involved in a new circle with some realy smart guys, working together daily and grinding our nuts off. Kudos to a freind of mine mr reynolds for being able to rake $12k a month playing 100nl. Please find someone on this planet thats not a retard that has a better work ethic.

Ill be sorting out some links, some are redundant and some are crap/broken. I have no idea why i went to the effort of doing that stars blogger thing, seeing as i open jammed every hand in event one and didnt play any of the rest. wp stars, u gg'd me. guess i am a lazy fk afterall....

jan update, doing my brains, going back to mtts for a little while as the skill gap is so vast its incred. finalled the 100fo on laddies tonight and the 20r on ipoker for about 2.5, but couldnt close either, 5th in idonk and 3rd in the laddies sit and dont go (such a ridic slow structure i wont be playing that again). Got a pretty good thing going on right now, so hopefully 2010 will be a gr8 year. Also i thought id get involved in this, might aswell, eh?

Ok, so gonna do a yearly review, as i was reading Neils blurb the other day about keeping book and i think im generally pretty bad at it.Was a decent year overall, i mean i survived (still havent had the tournament bink to set me up proper obv), moved in to a fab new house, had some nice holidays and stuff so im happy w that.

Cash was a little disappointing tbh, i was happy with my winrate/game but suffered from a sever lack of work ethic and a tendency to tilt at times. When i finally decided to accept advice and move up to 1knl i got bitchslapped pretty hard, running bad and trying really funky spewy lines, which didnt work out so good, which resulted in not wanting to play etcetc. Online donkaments i did ok, Strongbad919 won about 15-20k on ipoker, Jenny won about 20 on betfair, so happy w that. Independant ventures on stars and tilt went terribly, think my stars roi is in the bottom 1 percentile.

Live went really well overall, didnt play a lot of big events due to tight pursestrings owing to the house, but was happy w my play, really happy with my 1k wsope. In the local side of things, i won the luton 2009 league, which was quite cool and of which im quite proud really, guess i won about 20 sterling there last year, half and half in the small 50-200 mtts and the rest in the biggest 1/2 game in the country (on a fri/sun theres about 10k on the table which creates some wickedly fun action). Did my absolutes on drinking/partying a few too many times but meh, young, toning that down now.

In sadder news, insidepoker folded, which for me was a crying shame because of the quality of the mag and the fact that it basically meant that i had a locked on mortgage payment every month. Nevermind, will be trialling some stuff in a new venture soon :P

Coaching i was really happy with, my 1st student mikel ended up progressing really well until he decided poker wasnt his route in life and took a disgustingly well paid engineering gig. Pat on bodog exceeded expectations, so much so he bragged about it here

My other student stijn has postponed his coaching till he graduates (he paid me in full upfront...trusting dutchman, unusual after recent rumours on the uk circuit), but i think hes got the ability to exceed almost everyone i know in 6max (apart from sida obv, sigh).

Moving onto 2010, im gonna grind my fking tits off in a word. Im kinda fedup w the whole staking thing in a way, so will be looking to make a wedge and go fully independant by the middle of the year, possibly on a joint venture with the degen known as adam reynolds (u heard of him here 1st). Iv been approached by a number of people regarding coaching (christ knows why but might aswell stick a finger in another cake) and as a result im almost fully booked for the 1st quarter, which is handy as ill be attempting not to spend any moneybookers $ on dumb 100000 field donkaments on sundays chasing a (very unrealistic) 1 bink dream and instead will be using the money for a well-planned vegas trip (still a vegas virgin). 2010 will be a locked down grind, im gonna emulate some other guys i admire in the uk, mainly upthemariners and clarkatroid, who really put the time and effort in.

Also, this year
